Rehab Restoration
Rehab Restoration takes a water, fire, or storm loss all the way through, from the first emergency extraction and cleanup to mold remediation and the full rebuild, so homeowners are not left hunting for a separate contractor once the mitigation crew packs up. It is a family-owned Mauldin company working against the national restoration franchises, staffed by IICRC-certified technicians, and it handles the insurance claim directly, documenting the damage and dealing with the adjuster rather than leaving that to the property owner. Crews cover Greenville, Greer, Easley, Simpsonville, Powdersville, and the wider Upstate, and reviewers describe a quick arrival once the call goes out. The theme that runs through those reviews is communication: customers say the team kept them informed at each step and stayed with the job through a final walkthrough, which is what turns a stressful loss into something manageable.

Curb Appeal Solutions
Curb Appeal Solutions spent years cleaning gutters that already had pricey guards on them, so it held off on selling guards until it found one it felt actually delivered: the RainDrop system. Husband and wife Ben and Amanda Bruce own this woman-owned, veteran-owned family business. The core work is low-pressure washing for siding, brick, and roofs, plus windows, driveways, decks, commercial buildings, and solar panels rinsed spot-free with purified water. Come the holidays, crews hang custom Christmas lights the homeowner keeps, then pack them in a weatherproof container for next year. Reviewers tend to notice the small courtesies: patio furniture set back where it was, no gutter debris left behind, and care around plantings, one homeowner's old Japanese maple included. Jobs run from Travelers Rest to Fountain Inn and from Easley to Spartanburg.

Barrett's Flowers
Barrett's Flowers is a florist located in Greenville. Rated 4.8 stars from 129 Google reviews.

Greer Flooring Center
Greer Flooring Center has sold and installed floors for close to three decades, a locally owned business rather than a corporate storefront, though it belongs to the Flooring America buying cooperative for the warranties and product lines a small store could not stock alone. The showroom runs past 5,000 square feet, carrying carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl, tile, and laminate from more than forty manufacturers, with an in-house design team to help homeowners and builders match materials to a room and a budget. Its crews also handle residential and commercial installation and hardwood refinishing, serving Greer, Greenville, Spartanburg, Easley, and Anderson. Reviewers return to how carefully the staff pins down a match: one customer photographed an existing floor and had a sample tile mailed out to confirm the color before ordering. Others point to refinishing on century-old hardwood and steady follow-up from selection through install.

Wandering Bard Meadery
Mead is honey wine, one of the oldest drinks people ever made, and for most of us it only ever turned up in a fantasy novel or a Viking movie. Wandering Bard is where the Upstate actually gets to taste it. Run by an uncle-and-nephew team with mead-making in the family since the early nineties, it has long been known as the only meadery in the area, and it leans all the way into the tavern-hall spirit its name promises. The draw is a rotating list of nearly twenty meads on tap, made from South Carolina honey, flavored with real fruit and spice, and naturally gluten free. You drink by the flight, and if mead is new to you the staff will steer you toward where your taste lands, from bone-dry and hoppy to bright and fruit-forward. Licensed as a winery, they pour mead, cider, and cyser blends, with charcuterie boards, paninis, and salads coming out of the kitchen. The room matters as much as the pour. There is a stage for local music, Dungeons & Dragons trivia, a book club, game nights, and a wall of competition medals the owners have racked up over the years. Regulars give the crew real credit for how easily they turn a "mead is too sweet for me" skeptic into someone with a favorite. The tap list keeps changing, so the peach-and-reaper one somebody raves about this month may hand off to something new by your next visit. Finding the one that becomes your usual is the whole reason to grab a flight.

Shortfields Simpsonville
The burgers are the plate to know at Shortfields, ground from a blend of Angus and brisket that people around here point to as the difference. The room is casual and diner-style, sitting on downtown Simpsonville's Main Street with wood booths, a bar side where the TVs pull a crowd for weekend games, and a kids' section that makes it an easy family call. A private room takes on church groups, birthdays, and parties well past a dozen. Beyond that the menu spreads wide: wings in a range of flavors, a well-liked Reuben, salads, steaks and lamb chops, and weekend brunch, with a bar leaning on bourbon and mimosas. The breadth traces back to where the business began, as a catering operation in 2010 that grew into the Main Street restaurant a few years on. The catering side never went away, and still books weddings and private events across the Upstate. The other dishes reviewers single out are the fish and chips, with lightly breaded fish and a fry people describe as uniquely crispy, along with the chicken cordon bleu and the shrimp and grits. Praise for the food and the friendly service runs consistent, and the same reviews are honest that the dining room gets loud when it fills and the decor reads more comfortable than freshly updated. It stays busy enough that a short wait at the door on a Friday or Saturday night is normal.
