For first-time pool owners, the signature draw at Palmetto Pools & Spas tends to be the "pool school" that owner Dan runs: an extended sit-down walkthrough of how to read your water, operate your equipment, and keep a new pool healthy through a full Upstate summer. More than one customer describes that session as the reason they stayed on as clients. What they handle Residential and commercial pool service, including year-round and seasonal maintenance Pool openings and closings Equipment installation and repair, salt systems, and pool automation Gunite resurfacing and refinishing, including plaster and tile work Safety mesh cover installation Hot tub and spa sales The operation is CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certified and works as certified stain specialists, serving a wide Upstate footprint that reaches homeowners and properties in Mauldin, Taylors, Greer, and Simpsonville and extends toward Anderson and Spartanburg. It runs as an owner-involved shop rather than a route-only franchise, which is part of why the hands-on guidance shows up so often in customer feedback. What to know before you call Reviewers consistently credit the team with real technical know-how and a willingness to go above and beyond, and new owners in particular single out the up-front education. The recurring counterpoint across customer feedback centers on billing and communication, so it is worth confirming scope, visit schedule, and exactly how invoicing works at the start of any service agreement. Clarifying those details early is where this relationship tends to be won or lost.

Pool & Spa Connection serves Upstate South Carolina pool and hot tub owners on both sides of ownership: the supplies and equipment people come in to buy, and the service and repair work that keeps a backyard pool running through the season. It is a practical local stop for the routine upkeep that comes with owning a pool in the Upstate's long, warm swim season.
