Mulch and bed work come up again and again in Yard Sarge's reviews, from tired beds brought back with fresh mulch to spring cleanups. Beyond the beds, the crew handles the routine upkeep most of us would rather hand off: mowing, edging, shrub and small-tree pruning, weed cleanup, new plantings, and sod for bare or damaged stretches of lawn. They take on commercial properties too. It's a local outfit that keeps its territory close to home, working Simpsonville and Five Forks. Customers tend to mention Ashton by name, and the praise lands in the same places: a heads-up before mowing day, good communication from start to finish, and beds left neat when the job wraps. More than one reviewer has hired them for two different homes.

Marty Snaric has owned Curb Appeal since 2006, and he runs it on a short list of services and a calendar he won't overbook, so the work gets done on time. He credits that focus for the company's success. The list itself is mowing, weed eating, edging, and blowing, along with hedge trimming and fresh mulch or pine straw. Beyond the grass, the company power washes driveways and concrete and offers pooper scooping for households with dogs. Service runs month to month with no long-term contract, and the route covers Simpsonville, Mauldin, Fountain Inn, Greer, and Greenville. Customers tend to praise two things: that what was promised actually happens, and that Marty is easy to talk to about the yard.
