Gabriel Builders designs and builds high-end custom homes across the Upstate and the Carolina mountains through a turnkey design-build-interiors model that keeps architecture, construction, and interior design under one roof. Founded in 1984 and family-owned by the Rubios, the firm concentrates on luxury homes in communities like The Cliffs at Mountain Park, Keowee, and Glassy, and works throughout the scenic mountain and lake regions of South and North Carolina, from Travelers Rest and Lake Keowee out to Highlands and Cashiers. It is a locally owned builder with national recognition, named NAHB National Custom Home Builder of the Year in 2014 on top of numerous state and regional awards. Across verified client surveys, the detail people return to most is the communication: clear, collaborative, and steady from early design through move-in.

Fairview got its start in 2004 building inside The Cliffs communities, and high-end custom homes in that mold are still the core of the work: large residences suited to the mountain and lakeside settings north of Travelers Rest, out toward Lake Keowee and across the state line into Western North Carolina. The company takes a project from the first consultation and site analysis through design and construction, and handles luxury renovations as well, with an in-house interior designer on those. It is a family business now in its second generation, founded by Steve Hamblan and run today by his sons Chris and Drew. Over roughly twenty years the team has delivered more than a hundred homes and earned over thirty-five Home Builders Association awards since 2018.
