Powell Family Dentistry is led by Dr. William Powell, a Texas native who came to the Upstate for college, earned two chemistry degrees at Furman, and completed his DMD at the Medical College of Georgia in 2005.
The practice keeps routine and restorative care under one roof on State Park Road: cleanings, sealants, periodontal treatment, and whitening, along with tooth-colored composite fillings, root canals, extractions, crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, and partials. Registered dental hygienists Anna Traynham, with the practice since 2014, and Cathy Barnett are part of the team.
The office is in network with Delta Dental Premier, files claims with other carriers when a patient is free to choose a dentist, and offers CareCredit for payment plans.
