The locally owned Powdersville practice is led by Dr. Amar Patel, a Clemson graduate with a DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina who is completing an implant fellowship through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry MaxiCourse. He got his start as a dental assistant on Hilton Head Island, working alongside retired dentists who served underserved communities.
